

Understanding the Architectural Control Application Process
​In accordance with the governing documents of the Spring Shadows Civic Association, all exterior improvements and/or changes from the original construction must be submitted to and approved by the Architectural Control/Deed Restriction (“ACDR”) Committee.

The following listed items require architectural control approval (when in doubt for changes not included below, it's always recommended to check with the SSCA office):
a) Roof Re-shingling
b) Repair Exterior Wood/Brick
c) Generator Installation
d) Patio/Patio Cover
e) Pool/Spa
f) Fence
g) Repaint Residence Same Color
h) Paint Residence a Different Color
i) Gutters or other Drainage
j) Siding: Cement, Vinyl, Aluminum
k) Mailbox
l) Paint Brick
m) Playsets
n) Walkway or Sidewalk
o) Replace Door(s)
p) Windows
q) Room Addition
r) Replace Garage Door
s) Storage Shed or Separate Building or Structure
t) Solar Screens/Window Tinting
u) Driveway Expansion
v) Security Features/Equipment
w) Porte-Cochere
x) Other/Visible Changes Detectable from the Street View
