Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) is proud to recognize three outstanding students who have been awarded the prestigious Texas Theatre Scholar Distinction for the 2024-2025 school year. April 8, 2025 4:30 PM

These students were honored at the recent regular meeting of the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees on March 24 for their exceptional academic achievement and dedication to the arts.
To qualify for the Texas Theatre Scholar award, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, actively participate in their campus theatre department, and meet any additional requirements set by their respective schools. Moreover, they must exemplify strong moral character and uphold the values of their theatre programs, school, and community.

Valeria Portales, Stratford High School (SHS)
Tajlen Shell, Northbrook High School (NHS)
These students have not only excelled in their academic pursuits but have also shown dedication and passion for the arts, making significant contributions to their school theatre departments.
